The Kosovo Metrology Agency (KMA) is the only National Metrology Institute, which develops its activity based on the Law on Metrology No. 03/L-203, Law no. 04/L-124 on Amendment and Replenishment of the Law No. 03/L-203, Law on Precious Metals No. 04/L-154, and other legal bylaws that supports enforcement of above mentioned laws. KMA has 17 employees as is organized with following departments:
• Directory for Scientific and Industrial Metrology (DSIM)
• Directory for Legal Metrology (DML)
• Precious Metals
• Metrology Surveillance
